David Keenan @ NCF Cultural Co-op, Ballina
Saturday October 18th / Doors: 8.15pm / Start: 9pm
A DJ set, until late, will follow the gig.
theNCF & October Nights are happy to announce a rare and intimate show by David Keenan on Saturday October 18th as part of his ‘Chasing Myth’ Irish tour.
“Ahead of the release of my album I’m taking to the road this October to play hidden gems & hallowed rooms. With 11 gigs planned, featuring stops in every province in Ireland, the tour is all about the stories, the people and the joy of playing live in some special places.
I’m chasing myth around Ireland, seeking out local stories and folklore as I go. They say the Irish pub is dying and that magic doesn’t exist in venues anymore? I’m setting out to prove this wrong in October. It’s not about the size of the room, it’s about the people, the place and the music.” David Keenan
