News

There are some big projects happening at the moment and if they come off they'll be a huge benefit to the whole community, kudos to all involved.

TheNCF Community Green Space

I'm sure many of you have gazed into the urban jungle at the back of thencf and wondered what might be lurking down there. Well thanks to Philip Corrigan of ACT you may soon find out. Philip has prepared two excellent applications to transform the space into an urban garden for the benefit of the members and the general public by tapping two potential sources of funding, the Creative Europe "Culture Nudge" project and the Mayo Sustainability Fund. We'll publish more details in the next newsletter but reach out if you want to know more or want to get involved.

TheNCF Studio Spaces

Bernie is working hard on preparing the case for theNCF to take possession of the downstairs building which is currently vacant, to facilitate studio space for our members and also an accessible space for events that require it. So far the feedback has been positive but you can help out by filling out the survey here

especially if you interested in locating your studio/workshop/rehearsal space in theNCF.

ENCC's (European Network of Cultural Centres) Annual Conference

If any member is interested in representing theNCF at the ENCC Annual Conference, "Against the Tide: Empowering Marginalised Voices through Socio-Culture", taking place in Kotor, Montenegro from September 17th to 19th, please let us know—we’ll be happy to share the details.

Please note that attendance would be at your own expense, but we do have a group discount available.
